Why I photograph?   Perhaps because I am not able to paint!

The photograph has always had an important place in my life, ever since my father bought my first reflex camera, in 1983.
Since then, I crossed many moments of enthusiasm alternating with other of relative disinterest, but in the end, the old passion is always there, ready to re-emerge.   In more than 25 years, has changed my life, and I also changed my tastes and my interests.
Although I once preferred to photograph landscapes, now I love shooting people that I like to capture in all possible ways, from street photography, portraits in the studio, or when they do sports.
I use with great satisfaction the new technologies, from digital SLR cameras to image manipulation programs, but sometimes I do not deny the pleasure of taking pictures with the film, which has followed for many years my passion.
I am not a good photographer, I am one of many, and this site is just a showcase for my ego...

Perchè fotografo?    Forse perchè non so dipingere!

La fotografia ha sempre avuto un posto importante nella mia vita, sin da quando mi padre portò a casa quella che fu la mia prima reflex, nel 1983. 
Da allora, ho attraversato svariati momenti di entusiasmo alternati ad altri di relativo disinteresse, ma alla fine la vecchia passione è sempre lì, pronta a riemergere.      In oltre 25 anni, è cambiata la mia vita, e sono cambiati anche i miei gusti e i miei interessi.
Se una volta preferivo il paesaggio, oggi amo fotografare la gente, che mi piace immortalare in tutti i modi possibili, dalla fotografia street, ai ritratti in studio, oppure mentre pratica lo sport.
Utilizzo con grande soddisfazione le nuove tecnologie, dalle reflex digitali ai programmi di fotoritocco, ma ogni tanto non mi nego il piacere di scattare ancora con la pellicola, che ha accompagnato per tanti anni la mia passione.
Non sono un bravo fotografo, sono uno dei tanti, e questo sito è solo una vetrina per il mio ego...
